ABOUT INK BLOT

Ink Blot's aim is to keep you abreast of quality rock, dance, jazz and more through insightful features on bands and musicians whose work we find deserving of some modicum of respect and/or purchase. We don't like to be pinned down to one genre any more than you do -- the only rule is quality, and if we like it, we'll cover it.

Each issue will include several album reviews, an in-depth feature or two, and a look at a promising new artist in our "Cream of the Crop" section. We'll highlight the best new releases, but we'll look at some older stuff as well. For every great album that gets released this year, there are 25 sitting in the vault, and we want to help you discover those, too.

Ink Blot publishes a new issue monthly, though we add reviews on a daily basis, so you should check back often. Luckily, if you miss something new, all our features and reviews are stored in our archives. Just click the button in the navigation bar above. No, not that one, dummy. The one that says "archives."

That's not all, of course. We've got opinionated columnists, a monthly newsletter, free MP3's, cd giveaways, and more on the way every day. And if you've got thoughts on how we can get better -- a feature you want added, an artist you'd like us to cover -- please drop us a line.

Oh, and one more thing. Ink Blot Magazine is, as of yet, only available online. That is, we do not publish a paper rag.

And now a bit about the Ink Blot writers...
