  • The Official Warner Brothers Site
Still in development, and news updates are rare. Some good pics to be found though.
  • BTS Message Board
There are a couple out there, but this is the most active. Hard to find, but we've got your backdoor entrance right here.
  • Built To Spill Links
Nothing but links to all manner of Built To Spill information. Very comprehensive.
  • The Old Official Site
Builttospill.net -- confusing, I know. But check it out, because they've still got some good photos, a message board, and some not-so-funny flash thingies.

    The Story So Far

Hi, umm, some guy told me you needed someone to rock? Built To Spill are many things to many people, but to Doug Martsch, BTS's founder and songwriter, they are the happy conclusion of many years of band swapping and indie notoriety.

Doug started out in Farm Days in Boise and later collaborated with other local heroes to form the infamous Treepeople. Treepeople enjoyed its own brand of success but eventually dissolved, and in 1993 Doug and his new incarnation, Built To Spill, made their debut with Ultimate Alternative Wavers.

Quickly developing a devoted following BTS put out their now legendary second album There's Nothing Wrong With Love. And in 1997, once again changing their lineup, BTS put out their highly acclaimed third album and first major label release, Perfect From Now On. Keep It Like A Secret was their second release for Warner Bros. Live is their latest release, culled from three '99 performances. They're currently touring Europe.
